Story of Us; In 2001, technology entrepreneur Iain Burton launched an audio-guide company that would go on to supply the National Gallery, Louvre, and Vatican Museums with audio guides. After supplying museum gift shops with bespoke leather goods and stationery, Aspinal quickly became a luxury lifestyle consumer brand. Aspinal of London has remained true to its artisanal roots over the years when it comes to handcrafted leather accessories.

A tree-shaded region by a well in the English countryside is known as Aspinal to us as a sign of nature, power, and charity. The heraldic coat of arms serves as a visual representation of our company’s spirit. Safety and superiority are represented by the shield. It’s a visual representation of a castle in England, hence the castellated border. With its quill, a symbol of the effort and care that goes into producing long-lasting, attractive items.

Our company’s offices in the English countryside are tucked in the West Sussex Downs National Park. Many of London’s most famous art galleries and cultural institutions (like the V&A Museum) were founded in the English countryside; the dual nature of city and country influences our identity and is organically carved into our creative handwriting. Handcraftsmanship is a core value of our company, and it is absolutely necessary to achieve this degree of excellence. Aspinal has been a family-owned business since its start. Leather items for women are meticulously handcrafted by our professional leather artisans in our workshops. This season’s inspiration comes from the opulent and demanding ballet world, from the shimmer of delicate clothes to the graceful elegance of ballet dancers.

The elaborate embellishments and dazzling glimmer in this collection were inspired by Aspinal of London’s opulent chandeliers. The Swing and Fifties glitz of our Crystal Trunk is perfectly captured, and it is sure to delight. Each magnificent Trunk is meticulously crafted by master craftsmen and women using black acrylic, diamond-cut edges, and jet crystals. For added protection, a gold-tone Aspinal shield lock clasp and base feet are included as final touches. The little trunk is perfect for keeping your evening requirements and giving your formal clothing a sophisticated touch. If you want to carry it by the top handle, you can also use the gold chain strap to secure it to your body.
