Blade & Rose is a children’s clothing brand that has become wildly popular in the UK and beyond due to its trendy leggings and complementary accessories.
During my maternity leave in 2010, She founded Blade & Rose. She became sick of seeing the same monotonous designs for children’s leggings on the market, so She made some prototypes with colourful and trendy designs for the legs.
They finally chose to bring Blade & Rose to market after much consideration and three versions of a prototype.
It has always been a priority for Blade & Rose to use only the finest yarn in all of their creations. They knew from the beginning that the fabric they used for their leggings had to be durable, functional, simple to care for, and most importantly, soft on a baby’s skin.
The fact that the first three designs sold out immediately after being sent to a wide range of high-end, independent children’s clothing stores and gift shops reassures me that I’m not the only parent in this predicament.
For the next few months, She juggled my regular job with the needs of my two small children and worked on expanding Blade & Rose after hours and on weekends. However, in the end, it was all for naught.
They’ve been around for 12 years, which may sound impossible.
Blade & Rose started off as a husband-and-wife team, but they’ve since been joined by an amazing cast of characters.
Their British family business has stores all over the world, from Japan and China and Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates and New Zealand and Australia to shops in Germany and Switzerland, France and Spain, Belgium and Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, and the United Arab Emirates.

Blade and Rose – Hoodies
