HIGHLAND PARK 12 YEAR OLD WHISKY HALF BOTTLE
In the year 1798, Magnus Eunson was the one who initiated the creation of Highland Park. A great deal of emphasis is placed on his Viking ancestry within the distillery, and there is little doubt that the climate on Orkney, which is located approximately 16 kilometres north of the Scottish mainland, is undoubtedly quite wild due to the fact that it is surrounded by turbulent seas. However, despite its isolation, the temperature remains reasonably consistent throughout the year (rarely deviating outside of the range between 2 and 16 degrees), making it an ideal location for the maturation of whisky.

Jack Daniel’s whiskey captures the traditional Tennessee-style of distillation and aging to create a unique flavor that has become beloved around the world. Its light oak tones and gentle sweetness come from its distinct distilling process, which uses a mixture of natural cave spring water, corn, rye and malt barley. The recipe can be traced all the way back to Jasper Newton Daniel, whose skill in producing quality whiskey was taught to him by none other than an old Preacher. In 1866, confident in his ability, Jack established the very first registered distillery in the US – surely an accomplishment beyond what he himself could’ve imagined as a budding young cheif? Thanks to Jack’s signature technique and timeless flavor, Jack Daniel’s whiskey has become world famous – an homage not only to this unique Tennessee style of making whiskey but also to the genius who started it all.
SUNTORY TOKI WHISKY
In 1923, Shinjiro Torii had the idea to create a whisky that would include the essence of Japanese nature and would be hand-crafted by artisans using a meticulous method that would enhance the work that nature had already done. He had a fantasy of producing a whisky that was delicate, refined, and complex all at the same time. This whisky would complement the sophisticated taste of the Japanese and elevate their dining experience. Even though traditional Scotch whisky was Torii’s initial source of inspiration, he envisioned a Japanese approach to the process and hence chose a terrain and climate that were radically different from those of Scotland..
JACK DANIELS WHISKEY APPLE,
“Jack” is actually Jasper Newton Daniel, who was taught how to make whisky by none other than a Preacher. “Jack” is the brand name of Daniel’s whisky. In 1866, he reached a level of self-assurance that allowed him to build the very first registered distillery in the United States. I can’t help but wonder if he ever dreamed that his distillery would reach such great heights.
