Crew Clothing Company, a British lifestyle brand with a beachy vibe, is a go-to option for a traditional look with a modern twist. A storey always has a starting point where it can be explored further. We only had one goal in mind: to design garments that were inspired by the British coastline. For the designer’s first menswear collection, Salcombe, the home of professional skier Alastair Parker-Swift, was the ideal setting. The collection was inspired by the town’s cobblestone streets and pure water, as well as the town’s breathtaking views. When he wasn’t competing for England, Alistair ran a successful windsurfing school in his spare time. Crew Clothing got its start in this location.
Alistair’s collection included our renowned 1993 patched rugby shirt, which was one of the first pieces he acquired. He drove the entire route, from Salcombe to Cowes Week and then on to the King’s Road. The rest, as they say, is history: 79 stores later, the game is over. We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings in the back of a windsurfing shop more than 25 years ago. Shops can now be found all over the country, from St. Andrews to St. Ives, and everywhere in between. Despite this, we have never forgotten where they came from: the British seaside town of Scarborough. Finding a solution that is straightforward and effective is a wonderful feeling.
Our designs are versatile enough to be worn on a weekly basis, so whether you’re going out for brunch with friends or attending a formal event, we have you covered.
We are not willing to accept anything less than the best. Every one of our designs is made from the highest-quality materials that have been expertly polished to provide the highest level of comfort possible. Every stitch has been meticulously inspected to ensure that each and every piece of clothing is of the highest possible quality. Detailing such as stitching under the collar and contrasting sleeves are just a few of the features that distinguish Crew from the competition. Begin with the fundamentals, and the rest will take care of itself over time.
Crew isn’t something you can have unless you have stripes and crossed oars. Designed to pay homage to the English seaside, our crossed oars are a classic symbol of British design.
After more than two decades in business, we’ve developed a few distinctive trademarks of our own, including our well-known rugby shirts, blazers, cable knits, Breton tops, and piqué polos, among other things.
OVAL CARDIGAN
According to the definition of the term “blazer,” it is a semi-formal or casual jacket, whereas a cardigan is a type of sweater or jumper that fastens up the front with buttons or a zipper, and is usually machine or hand knit from wool.
A jacket is an outer piece of clothing worn on the upper body outside of a shirt or blouse that is typically waist length to thigh in length, whereas a cardigan is a sweater or jumper that fastens up the front with buttons or a zipper and is typically machine- or hand-knitted from wool in the United States.
A jumper is a dress that is worn over another dress, whereas a cardigan is a full-sleeved knitted garment that is worn over a shirt or T-shirt. Jumpers and cardigans are both made of knitted fabric. The front of a jumper is never open, whereas the front of a cardigan is always open, whether it is buttoned, zippered, or closed with Velcro.
If you mean “knitted woollen top with long sleeves that you pull over your head,” then sweater, jumper, and pullover are all terms that are used in Dorset to describe this garment. A cardigan, also known as a cardi for short, is a garment that can be worn open completely down the front, whether by zip, buttons, or press-studs.

OVAL VEST
The term “blazer” refers to a sleeveless upper body garment that is typically worn over a shirt. An item of clothing that provides protection and typically does not have sleeves (such as a life preserver) that extends to the waist. c: a waist-length, insulated, sleeveless garment that is frequently worn under or in place of a coat.
For people who live in hot and humid climates, vests are an absolute must-have item of clothing. It absorbs the sweat from your body and prevents it from seeping into your upper shirt or T-shirt, which can be embarrassing. So it also helps to prevent sweat stains from appearing on your shirt.
The word vest is derived from the French word’veste,’ which means jacket or sport coat, as well as the Latin word vestis and the Italian word vesta, which both mean robe or gown. A waistcoat, like a vest, is a piece of clothing that covers the upper body but does not include sleeves. Additionally, it is similar to the way it appears when worn in this regard.

An item of clothing worn on the upper half of the body with long sleeves, similar to a sweater, that is typically knitted or crocheted, but can also be made of jersey fabric or cotton as well as other materials. According to the fabric and design of the garment, jumpers and sweaters can usually be dressed up or down.
A jumper is simply another term for a hoodie that does not have a zipper. The term “nonconforming jemper” does not exist in the English language; if it does exist, it is simply another name for a garment known as a sweater.
The term “jumper” is derived from the noun “jump,” which is a modified form of the French “jupe,” which was used to refer to a short coat in the nineteenth century (and is completely unrelated to the term “jump” which means “leap”). By the early twentieth century, the term “sweater” had come to mean “heavy knitted top worn for warmth,” as opposed to its traditional meaning of “heavy knitted top worn for warmth.”
A sweater is the same thing as a jumper in terms of appearance. In American English, the word sweater is commonly used, whereas in British English, the word jumper is commonly used. As a result, sweaters and jumpers are considered to be the same garment.
