THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
The Phantom has a very mysterious life beneath the beautiful and glamorous façade of the Paris Opera House. Hello Dolly! stars Imelda Staunton, a two-time Olivier and BAFTA Award winner, is back where she belongs. This five-star, critically acclaimed new production, which is currently on at The London Palladium, also stars Imelda and is directed by Dominic Cooke with whom she worked in Follies at the National Theatre. Other people that are joining Imelda are Andy Nyman, Jenna Russell, Tyrone Huntley, Harry Hepple, and Emily Lane.
Dolly Levi, a middle-aged woman, who used to meddle with other people’s lives and now runs a matchmaking business, travels to Yonkers, New York to find a wife for the stingy, bachelor, half-a-millionaire Horace Vandergelder. However, her plans are altered when she concludes that she needs to create a match for herself first.
Hello, Dolly! is one of the most famous musicals in the history of musical theatre. , which has music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, the composer of such hits as La Cage aux Folles, Mack and Mabel, and Mame and a book by Michael Stewart, the author of 42nd Street, Mack and Mabel, and Barnum. ABOUT: The Starlight Auditorium is a state of the art cultural venue situated just 5 minutes walk from the tube and 12 minutes drive from Baker Street, Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
