About Calla
Jennifer Bailey, a bunion sufferer and serial hunter of chic shoes to wear that wouldn’t crush and bother her feet, started Calla Shoes. Having gone through it for much of her life, Jennifer knows the agony of not being able to find shoes to suit your feet better than anyone.
She battled so hard to locate an appropriate pair of shoes for her wedding (and finally kicked off the terrible heels she was wearing after an hour), and the company idea came together. Jennifer’s goal was to serve ladies with bunions or any foot issue, making “normal” shoes out of reach, with the ideal mix of style and comfort, never compromising either. She started Calla Shoes after being made redundant while pregnant.
Years of study later, Calla was launched to the delight of ladies all over the world, and consumers in 60+ countries love the comfort their shoes offer. Jennifer received the Inspiring Woman Award in 2018 for her part in uplifting women. She is driven to transform the lives of women who suffer just like her by using current designs and styles of on-trend shoes and altering them so that they will fit comfortably.
