LW Theatres has been producing musical theatre for over 40 years. Founded by the renowned Andrew Lloyd Webber and boasting some of the world’s most popular and beloved productions, their theatres in London have seen a marked rise in popularity. Who is Andrew Lloyd Webber
Andrew Lloyd Webber is a living legend in the Broadway world, having composed some of the most memorable and beloved musicals to date. When Sunset Boulevard arrived on Broadway in 2017 and joined School Of Rock, Cats and The Phantom Of The Opera he became the only person to equal Rodgers and Hammerstein’s record of four Broadway shows running concurrently. His impressive repertoire includes Aspects Of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Love Never Dies. He also produced important works such as Cats, The Phantom of the Opera and Bombay Dreams which brought AR Rahman to western entertainment platforms. Other noteworthy works under his belt include Daisy Pulls It Off, La Bete, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz that broke records at the London Palladium. More recently Emerald Fennell conceived a new take on Cinderella for Andrew Lloyd Webber which has been transformed into an enchanting romantic musical.
