As a result of a £200 bank loan (she claimed it was for a sofa! ), we were born in York in 1971 and named after Catherine Paver, an aspirational mother to be proud of.
With the help of her ambition to find shoes that were both comfortable to wear and fashionable, our company began to flourish. Since then, the company has grown with the support of Cathy’s three sons, Stuart (Managing Director), Graham (Senior Vice President) and Ian (Senior Vice President).
As one of the UK’s leading comfort shoe shops, Pavers Shoes places an emphasis on both high quality and low prices. In Scarborough, we were the first, and in York, Hull, and Newcastle, we were not far behind!
Since then, we’ve expanded our network of retail locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland, allowing you to shop for our own comfort line as well as popular names like Fly Flot, Skechers, Padders, and many more. We also have our Bellissimo brand for the fashion-conscious, which includes the latest season’s trends as well as the most sought-after styles.
