About NRBY
Jo Hooper had witnessed how NRBY lives had evolved after leading front stage in women’s fashion for nearly thirty years. Clothes don’t necessarily follow the 9-5 or the major event, given more women than ever working from home or part-time. Always drawn to the Japanese idea of one-mile wear, Jo set out to provide precisely that: appearing good, feeling good clothes in lovely natural fabrics, that will accompany you through your day — from Home to Nearby – and occasionally further out. Jo was joined by Cornelia Smith, a friend and colleague from “corporate” days, and NRBY Clothing came to life – a response to the need for comfortable, reassuring, colourful clothing—to be worn everyday, everywhere, almost exclusively—with the help of some wonderful friends and colleagues.
When life seems uncertain, when comfort and movement are vital, when NRBY no longer purchase for “seasons,” and when they wish for the greatest textiles right next to their skin. As they learn from their clients, their staff has expanded and is still developing. Without you, They could not do it! Not always is life about the major event, the daily grind, the 9 to 5.
