Both men named Tim and Jules were skiing in 1988 and enjoying themselves, but supplies were becoming scarce. After this, they came up with a plan: sell printed sweatshirts and t-shirts as the kids are skiing during the day. The actual name of the band FatFace was derived from La Face, one of the most difficult ways down the valley in the skiing resort of Val d’Isère.
