Women’s Supima Short Sleeve Crew Neck T-shirt
Supima cotton is used in the production of Uniqlo’s basic t-shirts, as indicated by the name, which indicates that they are made from this type of cotton.
Supima cotton is twice as strong as regular cotton and has a longer lifespan. It means that your favourite cotton T-shirt can now be worn for years rather than just a few seasons. It is much more durable than regular cotton because it is a stronger variety of cotton. A T-shirt made of Supima cotton will withstand wear and tear far better than any other type of cotton.
Historically, the torso or body of the shirt was cut from a circular tube of knit fabric, as were the sleeves, and there were no armhole curves cut into the pattern, which resulted in this particular shape. This was due to the fact that it was a utilitarian garment intended to be constructed as simply as possible.
If you’re talking about t-shirts, short sleeves are often referred to as’regular sleeves’ because they are by far the most popular choice for both men and women.
In terms of fabric, cotton is the best choice, and Supima cotton is at the top of the cotton category in terms of sheets. We use only organic cotton because it’s smooth and silky, it’s insanely soft and breathable, and because it’s the only type of cotton that goes through a quality verification process, we KNOW we’re getting exactly what we pay for.
